Meant primarially for beginners and experienced novices (like myself) this blog is an informal, sometimes satiric, exploration of the steel combat helmet and its role in identifying, inspiring, and protecting the G.I.s of various nations over the past 100 years. This is the book I thought I'd like to write but with a longer shelf-life, no editors, publishers, or art directors; just me and you.
