It's Veteran's Appreciation Week at Hagerstown Community College, and I was invited to bring in some helmets for display. The MICH/ACH in the foreground was worn by a fellow HCC student when he was deployed to Afghanistan...and lived to tell the tale.
The high level of interest from staff, faculty, and students was very gratifying. I've been asked to do it again next year, and I think that I'll bring in an assortment of US Navy helmets.
